I am Detra Dowling, a photographer who loves to second shoot. For me it is more of a day of play than work. I love to photograph what I see, and I enjoy watching the story of the couple’s most important day unfold. Because it is the most important day I do not just play but also work hard to capture what the main photographer wants from me. I can shoot photojournalistic, posed or a mixture of both.

My name is Desarae, and I am a mother of 4. I started loving photography when I was around 11 and always taking pictures of family, animals, flowers, and anything else I could find.

In high school, a friend of mine had a baby and I realized how much I love taking baby pictures, then when she got married I again realized how much you could love something that isn’t a person.

Since then I have shot over 100 kids, 100 babies, and 50 weddings, but just for practice and favors so I never saved pictures for myself, which is why my portfolio isn’t huge, but I do this because I love it, and people pay me because they think I am great at what I do.

Hi, I’m Lisa. I’m an outgoing southern girl who loves to meet new people. I am a mother of two handsome boys, a wife to an adoring husband and above all, God is my saving grace. Just like any girl, I love to be romanced, adored and make people smile. I cherish the little moments in life that make us smile; ones that we soon forget as our busy lives pass us by. One way I do this is by capturing the beauty of every day life…in pictures. Life truly began when I met my husband and we started our journey together over 10 years ago. A few years later, life took a brand new meaning for us when we had our oldest son, then two years later came our baby. Our family became complete.

At ShoMore Photography, my goal is to capture each of these precious moments in your life, so one day you can look back and remember and never forget. Whether we are capturing your wedding day, the birth of your brand new baby, your senior graduating high school; our pictures tell a story; a story that is frozen in time; a memory to last forever and remind us that life passes quickly. For me, I know this very well as I watch my babies growing to be boys, and soon to be teens, then on to be men.
